How does one ensure that a locomotive brake is set at the start of a work order? I am attempting to do a passenger work order with the NERR 4-6-2, and it starts up with all the brakes off. |

My opinion:
Note, this status of loco is not from AE to be changed.
This status is from ENG file for the engine given.
Note, by using MSTS BIN and changing the engineercab the loco is go in to primary status (brakes, throtle etc.).
By activity creating under MSTS BIN is a good idea:
- use no start speed by drived engine,
- use no engines with "off" start status for driveable trains.

Thanks for the reply.
Not sure what you mean by the 'off' start status.
In my work order, I guess I'll place in the notes an indication that the loco brake should be set as soon as the player closes the F11 window. |

By "off" status I mean:
In loco eng file are all brakes set to OFF.
Most of locos have by start train brake set in eng file to on, and loco train to off.

Do you've a start speed defined in the AE?
Are you talking about your submitted W/O NENJ-18-02?
If yes, i recommend that you shove the start point a little bit B4 the station and that Elizabeth is the 1st. stop. So in this case it doesn't matter that the Engines are running.
What happend wz the 2nd Engine? _________________ Andy

Yes, that new work order.
The second engine is being dragged along to the engine house for repair. |
